Dark Monday" is a deeply personal song that reflects my own intense struggle with depression. I wrote the lyrics during one of the darkest periods of my life, as I was trying to find a way to get the depression out of me. The song captures the ongoing battle between light and dark, good and bad, that raged inside of me. It speaks to the complexity of depression and the strength that it takes to confront personal demons and emerge stronger and more resilient on the other side. For me, "Dark Monday" is a powerful representation of my own journey through mental illness.
In sharing "Dark Monday" with the world, I hope to provide support and hope to those who may be struggling with mental illness. It is my belief that by speaking openly about the realities of depression, we can create a more compassionate and understanding society that is better equipped to help those who are suffering.

DARK MONDAY LYRICS
Verse 1:
If I keep you, will you know?
Hard to give up, hard to love
I just need you, out of me
I don’t see you, I’m not real
I just want to be the one to leave
I don’t need to fall in love
I just want to get on my knees
I just wish, I just wish you, Love
Chorus:
I don’t need two
I don’t need four (love)
I don’t need your wisdom so far (love)
I don’t need two
I don’t need four (love)
I don’t need a soft place to fall
I don't need you to go down, again
Bridge:
If I keep you, will you know?
Hard to give up, hard to love
I just need you, out of me
I don’t see you, I’m not real
I just wish you, Love
Chorus:
I don’t need two
I don’t need four
I don’t need your wisdom so far
I don’t need two
I don’t need four
I don’t need a soft place to fall
I just need you, out of me
I don’t see you, I’m not real (Love)
I just need you, out of me (Love, love)
I don’t see you, I’m not real (Love, love)
I just need you, out of me
